Yoga

So, when Andrew and I first started dating he was really in to yoga and took classes often.  As for me, I ran, played basketball, etc.  Things I considered "real" workouts.  I kind of thought yoga was this easy workout where you just breathed and stretched.

Now, fast forward 10 years and I am the one who is in to yoga.  I absolutely love it.  It is such a great work out and I leave feeling like I got a great work out yet completely revitalized.

For the past 2 weeks I have had trouble getting up and working out except for my yoga days.  On those days I seem to have no problem waking up at 5:00 to go to the gym.  I get so much out of these work outs. I told Andrew if I was to do it all over again I would just join a yoga studio instead of a gym b/c I could do it all the time.  And as for running, well w/ a bad knee and 2 bad achilles it does not happen (well I did run on the 4th of July in a 4 mile race in our neighborhood b/c Logan wanted me to and I was not going to tell him no b/c I am too young to not be able to do what my kids want me to.  I ran w/ him through mile 2 and then he walked for about 400 feet and then said lets run and took off and I could not keep up.  He finished (at age 7 w/out training) a 4 mile run in 41 minutes and I was about a minute and a half behind him which was not too bad for a lady who has not run in 4 years).

Now, if I can get as motivated to do my other workouts as I am to do yoga.

Me too!! So weird. I hate working out but just started yoga and am IN LOVE!
